The White House says it has cleared dozens of homeless encampments in D.C. Housing advocates say they want to be prepared if National Guard troops come to Chicago.

All Chicago spokesperson Hank Sartin said the organization partnered with the Chicago Coalition to End Homelessness to create information cards that are being distributed at encampment sites and parks. The card includes tips for what people need to do, like holding on to a photo ID, medications and other vital items at all times. It also has information on how to interact with police or federal agents and what to do if arrested.
