Gov. JB Pritzker’s proposed BUILD program aims to decrease the cost of homebuying by increasing the amount of available housing across the state. While some housing initiatives like Housing Action Illinois are in full support, others like the Chicago Coalition to End Homelessness believe that the budget is leaving them in the dust.
