Housing and Transitional Jobs for Homeless Youth

The Chicago Coalition for the Homeless youth campaign, No Youth Alone,
is advocating to preserve state funds in a tough budget year to provide
housing and access to transitional jobs programs for homeless
youth. A recent CCH study
demonstrates the need for more resources. Our survey of youth service
providers across Illinois found that 24 providers had to turn
away more than half the youths who sought help in fiscal year
2007--51.6% or 3,088 youth.

Youth Committee

The Youth Committee consists of representatives from 33 organizations. The
