June 18 Day of Action rally, 11:30 a.m., Thompson Center

On May 31, the Illinois General Assembly passed a budget that makes
devastating cuts to social service programs--including the homeless
prevention fund, child care, mental health services, care for the
elderly and services for those with disabilities. These cuts will
have a devastating effect on children and families. If state
legislators do not take action and new state revenue sources are not
identified by July 1, the cuts will go into effect.

Join CCH at today's Day of Action rally at 11:30 a.m. at the Thompson Center
(100 W. Randolph) to tell our state legislators that we support state
funding for social services! Come out and make your voice heard.
